The Shuttleworth Collection

The Collection is famous for its frequent flying displays. During the summer flying season, all of the airworthy aircraft from the museum are flown in displays, alongside guest aircraft from other operators and from the other Services. The displays re-create aircraft flight spanning the Edwardian period, the First World War, the twenties and thirties and the Second World War. More modern visiting aircraft are also a regular feature of the flying displays thus providing an absorbing contrast between the veteran and vintage aircraft types.
The collection is well worth a visit even on non flying days. Just take a stroll around the aviation museum and observe the international collection at close quarters.
